Austen Rose Tate is a Mama, Birth and Postpartum Doula, Holistic Health Practitioner, Breastfeeding Counselor, and Yoga Teacher. Her work is full spectrum, including offering grief and loss support. As a bodyworker, Austen incorporates body listening skills, educational tips and resources, along with 16 years of experience in home and hospital settings as a professional Doula. Her services support communities in giving birth the way they want and need with a grounding and loving presence. She lives in Santa Cruz with her two sons. And, loves to read, fine-tunes her personal yoga practice, and is a lover of nature. Surfing is her most recent adventure! Her whole-hearted belief about parenting is that when we consciously create life during conception, birth, and after, we have the opportunity to bring more peace to the world.
