About Aja B.

Hi, I’m Aja — it’s so nice to meet you! I was born and raised in San Jose, California, and today I’m a proud mom of three amazing kids and a bonus mom to three more beautiful souls. Together, we have a big, blended family that fills my life with love and connection. Recently, I also became a grandmother, and I had the incredible privilege of assisting in my daughter’s birth — a full-circle moment that deepened my passion for supporting mothers on their own journeys. My path to becoming a doula began when my daughter asked me to be by her side in the birthing room. While I had already witnessed the births of other family members and friends, being there for her lit a spark in me. That moment showed me how powerful birth support can be, and I knew I wanted to walk this path more intentionally. As a doula, I combine practical tools and mindful support. I use the Body Ready Method to help prepare the body for birth, and I love guiding mothers with breath meditations to stay grounded, calm, and connected throughout labor. I believe birth is both a sacred and transformative experience, and it’s an honor to hold space for families during such an important transition. Outside of birth work, you’ll often find me exploring with my husband, kids, and our two dogs. Traveling and adventuring together is one of my favorite ways to make lasting memories with my family. Birth is challenging, miraculous, and deeply sacred. My mission is to empower mothers to trust themselves, feel supported, and be celebrated as they bring new life into the world. I can’t wait to walk alongside you in this special season.
