I have felt called to birthwork since I was 14 years old. Initially I pursued a nursing degree with the intention of advancing to a nurse midwifery career. It became clear that the nursing path was at odds with my belief that women should be at the center of their birthing journey. That's when I learned about doula work. I have had the honor of serving as a birth doula and childbirth educator in the SF Bay Area since 2010. My passion is supporting personalized and empowering births, especially in the hospital setting. I work with expecting parents to help them advocate for their agency and collaborative decision making with care providers to ensure the best outcome physically and emotionally for everyone.
